Giveaway – Silver Irish Blessing Locket

I get offered a lot of products to review on this blog; in fact the emails flood in daily. If I’m honest, the vast majority of items do not interest me enough to write about, let alone for you to read about!
Last week I was offered a piece of silver jewellery to review. When I saw it, I felt it would make such a fabulous gift, that I couldn’t bring myself to keep it! This Irish Blessings Pendant is available to purchase from Museum Selection for £85.00 and is really quite special.

The locket is hanging on an 18 inch silver chain and by far the most beautiful aspect of this necklace, is the wording engraved on the back:

May the road rise to meet you.
May the wind always be at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face;
the rain fall soft upon your fields and until we meet again,
may God hold you in the hollow of His hand.
Perhaps now you can understand why this would make the perfect gift for someone special. If you would like it for yourself or have someone in mind to give it to, please enter the Rafflecopter below. In order for your entry to be valid, please also leave a comment, telling me who you would give this locket to and why.
Good luck!

  2. That is so touching and a beautiful piece, I felt quite emotional seeing it. I’ve been looking for a pendant, but it has to be special (for obvious reasons). I generally wear my cross but I wanted something a little different, so I’ll definitely be entering – who knows you have to be in it to win it :-). Thank you for sharing this gift with your readers x
